Abstract
Cystinosis is a genetically determined metabolic disorder whose most prominent feature is end-stage renal disease. This case report describes the dental status of a 12-year-old child with a history of chronic renal failure secondary to cystinosis. Observed dental anomalies included enamel hypoplasia and hypocalcification, delayed dental development, and dental agenesis. Oral manifestations of nephropathic cystinosis are not well documented in the literature, so it is very important to highlight the dental characterizations of this complex disease.Entities:
