Abstract
Extralobar pulmonary sequestration is a rare congenital pulmonary malformation compared with its counterpart, intralobar pulmonary sequestration, and occurs less in females. Here we describe a 24-year-old woman who underwent a median sternotomy for resection of an intrapericardial extralobar pulmonary sequestration. At her month follow-up visit, she had recovered well with no complications.Entities:
