Abstract
A recent study has shown that infection in the first 2 weeks after stroke correlates with 3-year mortality, and that risk of infection is highest in patients with dysphagia, urinary catheterization, or intracerebral haemorrhage. Studies are needed to assess treatment strategies to prevent early infection in patients with acute stroke.Entities:
