Abstract
Organocatalyzed asymmetric α-alkylation of aldehydes with 3-hydroxy-3-indolylox-indoles in aqueous media has been developed. The reactions proceeded efficiently in the presence of the MacMillan catalyst to give the desired products in good to excellent yields with moderate diastereoselectivities and excellent enantioselectivities.Entities:
