Abstract
Quadricuspid aortic valve is a rare congenital anomaly that may require surgical intervention because of valvular dysfunction. Rarely, it may be associated with enlargement of the ascending aorta. Here, the case is presented of a quadricuspid aortic valve-associated enlargement of the ascending aorta and functional aortic annulus dilatation in a 36-year-old patient. The patient subsequently underwent a successful aortic valve repair and replacement of the ascending aorta.Entities:
