Abstract
A case of embolisation of a splenic artery aneurysm is presented. The aneurysm and proximal splenic artery were successfully occluded with steel coils and there were no associated complications. Transcatheter embolisation-should be the treatment of choice for splenic artery aneurysms. The procedure carries less morbidity than surgery and more importantly allows preservation of the spleen and its function.Entities:
