Abstract
Twenty-six strains of Leishmania were isolated from cutaneous lesions in humans in 3 different geographical areas of Ecuador. The species were identified by enzyme electrophoresis as Leishmania braziliensis, L. panamensis, L. guyanensis, L. mexicana, and L. amazonensis.Entities:
