Anterior ankle arthroplasty: a retrospective study.

Abstract

A retrospective analysis of surgical resection of symptomatic tibiotalar impingement exostosis was performed at the Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh. Thirty-four patients with a postoperative follow-up ranging from 17 to 97 months, with an average of 36 months were studied. The study has demonstrated an 88% satisfaction rate with patients who sustained anterior ankle arthroplasty at The Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh.
