Abstract
A rare case of tenosynovitis of the right index finger caused by Mycobacterium avium complex is reported. A high index of suspicion resulted in early culture-based diagnosis. Surgical synovectomy combined with a prolonged course of antituberculous medications resulted in normal hand function.Entities:
