Abstract
The wealth of genomic information currently available to researchers and clinicians has dramatically changed the way some diseases are defined. However, leveraging this information is a major challenge, in part because previously established concepts and tools used for research and development are largely inadequate. Using the example of cancer genomics, this article focuses on systems-biology approaches to inform the development of personalized medicine.Entities:
