Abstract
Enteritis necroticans remains a serious problem in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Earlier claims that Clostridium Welchii Type C antitoxin is effective in lowering mortality rates were subjected to a prospective controlled trial in 1972-73. Use of the antitoxin was found to be of no benefit in treatment of this disease.Entities:
