Abstract
A technique that has proven highly predictable and successful for arthrodesis of the wrist involves combining rigid internal fixation with concomitant removal of the proximal carpal row bones, which are then morselized and used for bone graft. Advantages of this procedure are (1) no distant bone graft site is required and (2) rigid internal fixation allows virtually immediate rehabilitation.Mesh:
