Abstract
Squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate is very rare, making less than 1% of all prostatic malignancies. We report a case of primary squamous cell carcinoma involving the prostate in an 80-year-old man with a history of benign prostatic hyperplasia, the patient underwent a transurethral resection prostate (TURP) procedure for progressive urinary obstruction. Biopsy proved the tumor to be squamous cell carcinoma.Entities:
