Abstract
The administration of two test doses in the ratio 1:0.5 has been shown to provide sufficient data (time intervals) to predict the infusion rate necessary to maintain the concentration of a drug at the therapeutic threshold in a two-compartment pharmacokinetic model. If the relationship between the durations of action of the test doses is linear, only one test dose may be needed to predict the infusion rate.Mesh:
