Abstract
A 29-year-old man was admitted for abrupt dyspnea and hemoptysis. An echocardiogram revealed severe mitral regurgitation due to papillary muscle rupture for which an emergency mitral valve replacement operation was performed 4 days after admission. Herein, we report our experience with this case along with a review of the literature.Entities:
