Abstract
BACKGROUND: Clinical guidelines do not recommend maintenance tocolysis for the management of preterm labour. The French national survey EVAPRIMA revealed it was administered to more than 50% of women hospitalised for preterm labour. High risk pregnancy : History of late miscarriage, preterm delivery, multiple pregnancies or cervical cerclage.
High risk at admission: Bishop score >4, >6 uterine contractions per 30 minutes, ruptured membranes at admission.
