Abstract
One hundred and seventy-nine ambulance personnel working in Lancashire were tested for markers of past or current hepatitis B. None was currently infected but two (1.1 per cent) had had hepatitis B in the past with full recovery. Thus, the prevalence of past hepatitis B was within the range observed for blood donors in the UK.Entities:
