Abstract
Infantile gastroesophageal reflux is challenging because of the difficulties in differentiating normal developmental physiology from disease, the imprecision of diagnostic tests and the paucity of evidence-based therapies for clinicians to implement. Careful clinical assessment is central to avoidance of inappropriate diagnosis and utilisation of ineffective or dangerous therapies, and at the same time, identification of those infants who warrant intervention.Entities:
