Abstract
We observed jejunal water and sodium secretion in two patients with chronic idiopathic intestinal pseudo-obstruction by standard perfusion techniques. The ability of glucose to reverse this secretory state was impaired. These observations suggest that a jejunal secretory state may contribute to the diarrhea in chronic idiopathic intestinal pseudo-obstruction.Entities:
