Abstract

Congenital hypertrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium is traditionally perceived as a stable fundus lesion. A 2 year old was observed for 22 years with noted enlargement in the congenital hypertrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium lesion. Fundus photography confirmed growth from 2 to 4.25 mm in diameter. Copyright 2012, SLACK Incorporated.
