Abstract
Among 254 patients with candidemia who had a dilated retinal examination, 8 patients (3.2%) were diagnosed with ocular disease resulting in retinal detachment in 2 patients and globe rupture in 1 patient. This study found that ocular candidiasis is an uncommon but serious sight-threatening complication in pediatric patients with candidemia.Entities:
