Genitourinary manifestations of fibrositis: an increased association with the female urethral syndrome.

Abstract

Six of 50 female patients with fibromyalgia (fibrositis) but none of 50 rheumatic disease controls fulfilled accepted definitions for the female urethral syndrome. Genitourinary manifestations of this condition and its relationship to fibrositis are reviewed.
