Abstract
We present a patient with cardiac tamponade caused by a malformed staple after lobectomy. The patient was successfully rescued by an urgent reoperation. Although rare, acute cardiac tamponade should be taken into account after lobectomy, and proper measures should be taken against the potential harm caused by a malformed staple.Entities:
