Acute Pseudomonas chondritis as a sequel to ear piercing.

Abstract

A patient is reported who had Pseudomonas chondritis secondary to ear piercing. The cause, pathogenesis, symptoms, and diagnosis of acute chondritis are discussed. Principles of treatment are enumerated.
