Abstract
An experiment was performed in rabbits to test the effect of a textured surface of a silicone implant on the incidence and severity of capsule contracture. Contrary to the hypothesis of this experiment, texturing of the implant surface resulted in an increase in the contracture problem rather than a reduction.Entities:
