Abstract
Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related disease is a newly emerging clinicopathological entity that is characterized by increased serum IgG4 levels and tissue infiltration of IgG4-positive plasma cells. IgG4-related immune inflammation has been reported to be present in inflammatory aortic aneurysm, albeit not in every case. Several recent studies have suggested that IgG4-related disease may underlie certain coronary artery abnormalities, such as coronary aneurysm, pseudotumor, wall calcification, and intimal thickening. Here, what is known about IgG4-related coronary artery lesions, as well as questions that remain to be answered thus far, are discussed.Entities:
