Abstract
This report presents the case of a patient who expired 10 hours following and emergent hip-wound debridement where Betadine, a povidone iodine solution, was used to provide continuous postoperative wound irrigation. Toxic manifestations of systemic iodine absorption appeared to cause her demise.Entities:
