True glottic foreign body in an infant.

Abstract

A case of true glottu foreign body (metallic blouse hook) Sandwiching the vocal-cord reported here in an 8-months-old infant who presented with abnormal cry. only. In the absence of classical history and clinical features, a laryngeal foreign body should be suspected in otherwise healthy child with abnormal cry The difficulties and ountet cd and potential risk of complicattions during the removal are discussed.
