Abstract
This paper present an unusual case of acute upper respiratory obstruction due to an inhaled grape necessitating acute surgical measures. Study of the literature proves laryngeal foreign bodies to be a rare occurrence but infinitely more dramatic and life-threatening than either oesophageal or bronchial foreign bodies. Successful management entails prompt surgical intervention coupled with at times, surgical ingenuity.Entities:
