Abstract
We investigated the optical properties of a novel chiral metamaterial; two-dimensional metal chiral networks formed from metal ribbons deposited on a dielectric substrate. For zeroth-order transmitted light, sharp optical resonances were observed at spectral positions, which are determined by the surface plasmon resonance frequencies of the periodic metal structures. The experimental results are in excellent agreement with numerical calculations.Entities:
