Abstract
The methodology, described here for in-vitro cultivation ofM. leprae may open out a new era in preparation of purified vaccine, production of specific monoclonal antibody and study of in-vitro sensitivity of the organism against the newly discovered drugs, and as such ensures rapid eradication of leprosy.Keywords: Culture ofM. leprae
