Abstract
In recent years there has been an increasing trend in the diagnosis and treatment of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) worldwide. One of the most frequently discussed side effects of these treatments is related to problems of growth. In order to better understand what ADHD is and the mechanisms by which it could affect growth, this article reviews relevant data from a clinical and neurophysiologic perspective to improve understanding of this controversial issue.Entities:
