Abstract
For some patients, the transcutaneous bone-conduction implant offers a viable alternative to conventional amplification. However, this option should be employed only after considering the relative advantages and disadvantages of conventional medical management and, when feasible, the fitting of air-conduction amplification. The cases presented here illustrate some important factors to consider in the selection and fitting of bone-implant candidates.Entities:
