Abstract
Ecthyma gangrenosum (EG) is a well-recognized dermatological condition caused by gram-negative bacillary infection, particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Association with gram-positive cocci is very rarely reported in the literature. To the best of our knowledge, we describe the third case of EG caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in a patient with AIDS who presented with multiple typical necrotic lesions.Entities:
