Abstract
Epithelial carcinoma of the ovary, a rare complication of pregnancy, was diagnosed at 16 weeks' gestation after presentation as an acute abdomen. Exploration with conservative surgery was done, and cis-platinum-based combination chemotherapy was administered for the remainder of the pregnancy. Induction and vaginal delivery resulted in a successful outcome for mother and fetus. Postpartum laparotomy was negative.Entities:
