Abstract
We report a case of a 39-year-old female with a recent diagnosis of dermatomyositis and dysphonia. Dermatomyositis is a connective tissue disease with multisystem involvement: cardiac, pulmonary, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, and dermatologic are the most common. While dermatomyositis affects thousands of individuals in the United States, laryngeal involvement has only been described in a single case report to date.Entities:
