Abstract
A 72-year-old woman visited our clinic with fever of unknown origin above 38°C and arthralgia from 7 months before. Her symptoms recurred as oral steroid was reduced. Random skin biopsy was carried out from five points. One of the five specimens taken from abdomen revealed large atypical lymphoid cells in the vascular space of subcutaneous fat. Immunohistochemical analysis showed that these cells were positive for CD20, CD79a, bcl-2, bcl-6 and MUM-1. From these findings, a diagnosis of intravascular large B cell lymphoma was made.Entities:
