Abstract
We studied 87 healthy dogs to determine background levels of blood lead in dogs living in a presumably uncontaminated environment. We took blood samples from dogs and asked their owners for information regarding behavioral risk factors related to environmental lead exposure. The mean blood lead concentration was 5 (+/- 4.4) micrograms/dl (range 0-22 micrograms/dl).Entities:
