CT findings in acute renal cortical necrosis.

Abstract

Acute renal cortical necrosis has three characteristic findings on contrast enhanced CT: (a) lack of enhancement of the renal cortex, (b) enhancement of the renal medulla, and (c) absent renal excretion.
