Abstract
Peripheral intravenous cannulation is widely used in medicine. Arteriovenous fistulas are rare complications but their occurrence has never been reported in the hands. We report on a young patient who developed a high flow arteriovenous fistula on the dorsum of her hand two weeks after a failed peripheral intravenous cannulation attempt.Entities:
