Abstract
It is now widely recognized that extraesophageal reflux (reflux reaching structures above the upper esophageal sphincter) has a wide range of effects on the upper aerodigestive tract, as well as the lungs. The degree to which this reflux contributes to the pathophysiology of sinusitis and other sinonasal diseases is still not completely clear, but an increasing body of literature supports a potential role.Entities:
