Abstract

Tributyl phosphate (TBP) enhances 238Pu penetration at all stages of its transport in the organism, significantly influences the rates and levels of its cumulation and elimination, the duration of its deposition in organs and tissues. The detected differences indicate the necessity to take them into account in the assessment of danger of exposure to 238Pu in combination with TBP.
