Abstract

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of our article was to review the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of pelvic abscesses. Pelvic abscesses account for a wide range of abnormalities from various etiologies.
CONCLUSION: MRI is being increasingly used for pelvic exploration. Radiologists must thus be aware of their features and characteristics.
