The other colonic polyposis syndromes.

Mark Omundsen1, Francis F Lam.

Abstract

Familial colorectal cancer syndromes have been increasingly recognized and through their characterization have contributed to our understanding of the genetic basis of colorectal cancer. The two main syndromes of familial adenomatous polyposis and hereditary non-polyposis coli are the commonest. There is however a number of lesser known syndromes described, which is the focus of this article.
