Abstract
This report describes a case of acute life-threatening iodine toxicity in an infant with Hirschsprung's disease caused by rectal irrigation with povidone-iodine. A hypothesis regarding absorption and recommendations for povidone-iodine usage for bowel preparation are presented.Entities:
