On an intracranially divided optic nerve (N. opticus fissus).

Abstract

An intracranially divided optic nerve is described for the first time. At its upper surface an adhesion of the arachnoid membrane and the medial frontobasal artery was seen. The finding is discussed with descriptions of earlier researches and results of our material.
