Abstract
Minimally invasive surgery in children has evolved to the extent that complex procedures can be performed with safety and outcome comparable with open surgery, with the advantage of minimal scarring. Here we describe the latest laparoscopic techniques used by us at the Juntendo University Hospital, Japan, for treating biliary atresia and choledochal malformation, with presentation of our postoperative management and discussion of preliminary outcomes.Entities:
