Abstract
The complications related to the retropubic placement of polypropylene mesh (TVT) for stress urinary incontinence have been extensively described in the literature. The occurrence of an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, however, has not been previously reported as a complication of placement of a mesh sling. We report such a case in a patient with neurofibromatosis who had undergone a TVT for stress urinary incontinence and present a brief review of the literature.Entities:
