Abstract
65 year old male presented to us with swelling on right side of neck which was progressively increasing since last 1 year. Moving with deglutition but not with the protrusion of tongue, FNAC and ultrasonography of the swelling suggested possibility of thyroglossal cyst (TGD). Histopathological report, on removal, by Sistrunk operation confirmed the same. Presence of TGD at the ripe age of 65 years, huge size, multilobular nature and absence of classical signs of TGD, in our patient prompted us to report this case.Entities:
