Abstract
We recently described that IRF-1 is important for IFNγ mediated immune surveillance in metastasis. Despite the upregulation of MHC Class I in tumor cells, IRF-1 leads to a NK cell-dependent elimination of tumor cells. This mechanism is independent on inhibitory receptors and cytotoxic granules but dependent on DNAM-1.Entities:
